SMS Privacy Policy

1. Information Collected

We collect your phone number and communication preferences when you explicitly opt in to receive SMS communications from The Russo Law Firm. We also maintain records of the text messages sent to and received from your device regarding case-related updates.

2. How We Use Information

Your mobile information is used solely to provide, support, and maintain case-specific updates, document status alerts, and scheduling coordination directly related to your legal matters.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any reason.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

5. Your Choices and Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message received from our firm.

Payment Processing

We use Stripe, Inc. to process payments. Your card or bank account information is entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form. The Firm does not receive or store your full card number, bank account number, or online banking credentials. That information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

If you pay by bank transfer (ACH), Stripe allows you to verify your account by signing in to your bank through Stripe. With your authorization, we may request a point-in-time balance for that account for one purpose only: to confirm sufficient funds are available before initiating the transfer, so your payment does not fail. We do not retain your balance, do not access your transaction history, and do not use this information for credit or underwriting decisions. You may decline to link your bank account and pay by card instead.

The Firm can view limited payment information through our Stripe account: the name and email provided for billing, the payment amount, date and status, the reason for any failed payment, and — for bank transfers — your financial institution's name, the last four digits of the account, and the routing number. We cannot view your full account number or card number at any time.

Financial data accessed through Stripe is stored and processed only in the United States.
